Hi! I'm Eddy Lin

You might have met me at an event, or maybe you found your way here through something I wrote online. Either way, I thought I'd introduce myself properly.

My goal in life is to become a "happy Socrates," if there's such a thing. I want to stay curious about what I don't know and explore as much of this fascinating world as I can.

I first got into crypto in 2021, and somehow that led me into the worlds of FinTech and business. I've been hooked ever since. I hope to put what I've learned along the way to good use, solving real problems, creating value, and doing something meaningful for people and society.

Lately, I've been spending more time researching financial crime, especially on-chain fund tracing and anti-money laundering (AML). Part of it is about learning how to better protect myself, but I also hope that what I'm learning might someday help someone who's fallen victim to a scam. Maybe I could help buy a little time for stolen funds to be frozen, or spot warning signs early enough to prevent a scam in the first place. After all, it's a constant cat-and-mouse game, and there's still a lot I want to figure out.

If I had to describe myself in a few words, I'd say I love exploring new technologies, keeping up with what's happening in business, and staying connected to philosophy. More than anything, I hope to live a life that surprises even me.
